The future of art

Instead of an attractor, think of a center. An attractor is always a center of centripetal force. A true center can be a center of centripetal or centrifugal force, depending on its position in its life-cycle of birth, growth, and death (transformation). A center should be a point of symmetry -- a constraint, a link to a common identity -- a point of balance and conservation expressing a hidden unifying potential. This nascent structure should provide the subtle space from which creative decisions will direct a generative process to fill in with material form. Those decisions should leverage decisions made by others and develop a collaborative medium for cooperative social and collective expressions of beauty.
